It is very important to our practice that you have a safe and satisfying pregnancy. There can be many questions that arise if you are considering getting pregnant or have just discovered that you are pregnant. Listed below are many commonly asked questions that you might find useful to make this a stress-free and comfortable time in your life.

What Hospital Will I Deliver At?
Dr. Watson provides obstetric care at both Miami Valley Hospital and Kettering Medical Center. They are equipped with beautiful birthing rooms, delivery rooms, and operating suites. You may want to check with your insurance to see if you have better benefits at one hospital versus the other.

Can I Register Early with the Hospital I Choose?
You will be given hospital information at your first pregnancy visit that includes a registration form. This form should be filled out and mailed to the hospital as soon as possible. This ensures you are registered and expedites your admission to labor and delivery.

Do I Need to Take Prenatal Classes?
We strongly recommend childbirth classes. The hospitals also offer breastfeeding classes and sibling classes. Call for registration early in your pregnancy to guarantee the dates and times you are interested in, as these classes fill up quickly.
